Our Mules, Slides, and Heels run true to size. As we don't carry half sizes, if you are a true half size, we recommend sizing down. For slides only, if you have wide feet, please let us know in your order notes or email us with your order number at info@alepel.com as we have a wider slide style for you. Our Sneakers and Pointe run half a size small, therefore we recommend all sizes to size up. The best way to determine your best fit is to refer to our size chart here.

 

Q: Will the paint fade after wearing?

No, the paint won’t fade. We create wearable art you can wear every day. The leather is prepared with a special treatment to absorb the paint properly. Our artists paint all styles by hand, and each pattern has from 4 to 8 layers of paint. The artwork is sealed with a water-resistant topcoat.

Q: Are all styles made-to-order?

Yes! In a world of excesses, we strive to create consciously. All ALEPEL styles are hand-painted and made-to-order per purchase just for you. Hand-painting production time is 8 to 14 business days. Please e-mail info@alepel.com if you need your order rushed.

 

Q: How do I add Monogramming to my order?

All styles come with an optional complimentary monogram. Every product listing has a section where you can fill in your monogram of choice alongside the font and color. From simple initials to  a special date, or a meaningful phrase that makes a statement, the options are endless. Pick from 3 font styles (a Serif, Sans Serif or Cursive), and 3 color options (Silver, Gold or Rose Gold). You can see our full monogram menu here. Q: What is the packaging like?

We just recently launched our new packaging! We are no longer incorporating a single shoebox. Our now 2-in-1 shoe and shipping box is made out of recyclable card stock for the most sustainable, minimalistic, and inclusive packaging approach for our customers and our environment.

All styles come with a raw cotton dust bag with our ALEPEL logo and a personalized Thank You Card with care instructions, with our packing slip paper-cliped to it. We handwrite any gift notes added to orders as well.

Our Mules, Slides, Heels, and Pointe are 100% Genuine Leather with Synthetic Lining and Outsole. Our Sneakers, Cardholders, and Bags are 100% Eco-Friendly Vegan Leather with Synthetic Insole and Outsole (Sneakers) and Fabric Lining (Bags and Cardholders).
