This special, graphic stars pattern comes from the very first ALEPEL hand-painted collection, celebrating Venezuela. The Stars represent the original Provinces of Venezuela. This slip-on mule style was hand-painted by a young disabled artist called Luis Alberto Cancú in the Dominican Republic. As this is a hand painted shoe we recommend handling with care. To clean, use a slightly damp cloth and gently clean the surface.

Our orders are shipped with as much haste as possible from the time of purchase, however hand-painted orders will have a production time of up to 14 business days for painting. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 5 business days of the ship date. ALEPEL is not responsible for parcels once they’ve been scanned and delivered.
ALEPEL ships all orders within the US with UPS. Shipping is free for customers placing standard, ground orders within the US.
Note, we do not ship on the weekend, U.S. Holidays, and do not offer Saturday delivery. If you need expedited shipping or need an item in time for an event or holiday, please e-mail us at email@example.com and we would be happy to assess what we can do to expedite. Expedited production/shipping may incur additional charges.
International parcels are shipped with DHL. DHL worldwide shipping is typically 3 business days, but can take longer if there are customs delays or unforeseen service interruptions.

Our parcels are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) to international destinations. In this case, DHL will bill you for any specific import duties, customs duties, and local taxes that are required by your country for delivery of your item. If the customer refuses delivery due to any import duties, the parcel may be returned to sender and, in this case, a refund may be issued. The parcel must be received in ALEPEL headquarters for any possible refund to be issued. ALEPEL is not responsible for shipments lost in transit.
If for any reason your order may be delayed or cancelled due to stock, payment issues, or if fraud is suspected by our team, we will contact you via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Returns must be received back to our headquarters within 15 days of the item’s ship date. Once we have received and processed your return, refunds will be issued via the original method of payment. Please allow up to 14 days for processing. Please contact us at email@example.com if you might like to submit your order for consideration for a return. International orders are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Returned merchandise must be returned in new and unworn condition.

You are responsible for the products until they reach us again, so please make sure you pack them in with care and ship securely. ALEPEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT. PLEASE SHIP WITH CAUTION AND WITH A REPUTABLE SHIPPER. Feel free to re-use the packaging you have received it in, but make sure to remove all the barcodes from the postal box to avoid any confusion in delivery. Alepel cannot process a return or exchange until the returned item is received back in our headquarters. Please take care that the goods are adequately protected in transit.
Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer (at your expense) and/or refused a refund.
